Can't get my footage into DVD Architect...

I'm new to vegas so I'm trying to learn a lot all at once. I put together a few clips and I'm trying to put it into Dvd Arch. I render my footage in Vegas as MPEG 2 and save it to the desktop. When I go to open it in Architect it doesn't show in the "desktop" window but if I minus down the program it's showing on my desktop. Like I said i'm new to all of this, so bear with me if this is really something simple.

Well, I got my footage in there but when I go to optimize dvd it tells me that my audio needs recompression, even though I rendered it as mpeg2. Also if I go to create a dvd, then setup, it says that my file is orphaned and unreachable. What am I doing wrong?

DVDs don't use MPEG audio. They use AC-3 or PCM (.wav). If you rendered MPEG audio, DVD Architect will have to convert it to AC-3 or PCM (whichever you chose in your project settings, or AC-3 at default), which is why it needs to be recompressed.

The DVD Architect templates under MPEG-2 don't include audio. You should render the audio separately as AC-3 or PCM. Use the same file name and have in the same folder as the video, and DVD Architect will match them up automatically.

You probably have a menu page which is unreachable from any other menu page. You can check the tree in the side window.
