Can't get .m2t to work with Vegas 8a

[Kit Hannah]

Hey all, trying to drop in m2t files to the Vegas timeline and it's giving me a message that the file type is not supported. m2t works fine with Vegas 7d and also works fine in WMP. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Kit

Re-install. Vegas 8 does support m2t. The problem is on your side. You might have to uninstall 7 first.

Is this a demo of Vegas 8? If so, that'll be your problem. MPEG is licensed, and the license doesn't extend to the demo.
