Can't find cinescope preset in PP1.5 w/ magic bullet

[renegadewill]

Where do I find it?

[Huy Vu]

I think you want Magic Bullet Suite (the After Effects version) for that.

[renegadewill]

seriously, I want accurate 1.85 to 1. How else could I get it?

Its hard to know what you are asking for. Can you rephrase your question?

Checkout the Presets page at www.videocopilot.net. Andrew Kramer has posted an AE preset that is set for 16:9 letterbox that is customizable to any aspect ratio. It's free and worth trying out to see if it meets your needs. BTW 1.85 is not scope, but standard theater screen ratio; I believe Cinescope is 2.40.

I know that 1.85 is not "scope." I just figured that if there was a scope present there must be a 1.85 to 1 preset. Do you have like a 4:3 and or 16:9 1.85 to 1 mask, letterbox, or matte (which ever you like).

thanks

You can just send me a still of your footage, I'll apply the matte and send it back and you can just add the black bars to match.

[renegadewill]

do you use photoshop to create the matte?
