Hey everyone here is what i'm getting.
Capture.jpg

I'm shooting 24f with a cannon xh-a1. I am trying to use Apple's Animation codec to output to .mov As you can see in the picture it repeats the image on the right hand side and is jerky on the right hand side upon playback. I have tried every other aspect ratio and still cant get it perfect. Source footage is 1440x1080 going to 1920x1080 useing the 1.333 pixle aspect ratio with field oreder set to progressive.

Thanks,

Aaron

Was there any effects on the clip? Magic Bullet? This looks like an effect bugs rather than export setting issue.

Also if you're exporting as 1920 x 1080 pixel aspect ratio should be 1.

Nope no other effects. and when you mean aspect ration set to "1" you mean square pixels? It exports fine from media encoder if i encode it to MPEG DVD and then burn it with encore.

Okay so i figured out how to fix it. But i still don't understand. Upon exporting if i choose deinterlace footage everything is perfect. But i shot this in 24f. Why would i need to deinterlace footage if its progressive?

Welcome to the wonderful world of Premiere Pro, where random bugs like this abound. It's definitely not a setting issue since the resolution settings will never result in a double image like that.
