Hmm. I was thinking of turning it down, but those two passes to the Hoboken Film Festival sealed the deal for me. Now I just have to get a cannon 7D.
 
come on guys, it features multiple academy award winning actors.

and all you have to have is a canon 7d as it is apparently equal to a complete red package.
 
The sad part is this film will get made. A student fresh out of college will make it with a Full RED package. Guaranteed.
 
After looking at their website, I'm taking the job. The thought of being involved with a movie that could be the next The Room has me interested.

I can make a feature film for 150 000 bucks. If I had 5 850 000 USD for promotion campaign budget, I'd get far enough.

Of course, making 6 million dollars BACK from a 150 000 dollar film might be more difficult...

So, in other words, they want the DP to direct the film, supply the camera, supply the lighting, supply the transport for all of the aforementioned gear, and be able to shoot an entire feature film in seven (7) days. In return s/he will get paid $100 per day plus deferred pay that will never materialize.
