Hey all,

I recently got my brevis and shot with my Sony Z1, with the Z1 i used the magnet trick to flip the lcd.

However I am now looking at getting a Canon XH-A1s and want to know is there any tricks to flip the image on this camera?

Also the Canon is also 72mm right? I dont need to get any step down rings?

Thanks in advance :)

The Canon XH-A1 does indeed have 72mm threads. As far as I know, there is no flip hack for the XH-A1 (at least an easy one). Truth be told, the XH-A1 with the Brevis flip is very clean compared to the non-flip setup, and is the recommended setup. We've got a video that discusses this in Cinevate's Video University which demonstrates this far better than I could explain in a post :-)

Kevin Shahinian's "Sno" was shot with the XH-A1, flipped MP.2 and Canon FD lenses.

Cheers,
Dennis.
