A great offering of photos there.

My favorite shot is the beetle crossing the footprint. Is it too cliche to call an image like that existential? If I could change anything about it, it would be the shoe print in the top right.

Now that I think about it, the man working with mud clay is in the same vein of work.

Any special tools used to control light? Or was it all natural and on-camera flash?

Thanks for the comments. It was a group of about 20 that went to Morocco for a photography abroad class. We were on the go EVERY minute, seeing everything Morocco had to offer.

My favorite shot was the cup for most of the trip, but the more I see the one of the Berber guide stepping forward into the desert, the more I like it. (on a sidenote, we traditionally see things left to right, but arabic is right to left, the way he is moving)

I would also lose the shoeprint in the beetle photo, and shoot at a higher shutter to freeze the beetle a bit more, or slow it down to exaggerate it more.

I never used a flash. All natural lighting from the environments I was in.

I loved shooting with the 5Dm2... have been bummed since I returned and have had to go back to using my rebel. I shot some video with it, but it was my second time doing so and I didn't operate that well. Here's a link if you want to see.

I export TIFFs from Aperture, scale to 25% JPEG in Photoshop, and smart sharpen the smaller JPEGs.

Is there a better way?

I don't want something realistic like a spark or trail of flames this is one I have been toying around with but I'm still unhappy about it:

Isnsi,

Really like the first of the last set. Do you cover events professionally, or do you just happen to find yourself at shows with a camera (and can't resist)?

Some shots I took from my best friends wedding...I wish I could have been his official photographer but I wouldn't want to miss being a part of the wedding itself:

New to the site, well posting to the site at least. Have been reading for a very long while now. I thought I'd add a few from my collection since I am still coming up to speed with things in the world of video.
