I got me a 2003 Focus that's almost paid off and I have zero complaints with the car. I'm almost free of the nasty bi-weekly payments....But then you have to post this! That's an itch I can scratch but don't wanna! And you're buying homemade, good for you!! Nice ride dude.

My goal was to help bail out Chrysler and the local gas station all at the same time!! wohoo..

I never posted anything in the Still Photography section, so here's my debut!

These were made in Switzerland with my EOS 40D and a Sigma 18-50mm 2.8 lens.
I'm really amazed at how well they look because the settings were "all wrong". I don't have a remote for the camera, so I was limited to 30 seconds, which then limited me to F2.8 and ISO 400.

Nothing photoshopped, I only used Lightroom to adjust contrast, colors etc.

Take more, I love those! Is that a ski resort with night slopes?

Thank you!
Unfortunately I've only been there one week on my vacation. These are not night slopes - they're working on the slopes all night long with their snowcats. Lucky for me, because the lighting was just great ;)

Now it makes sense... it looked like it was some sort of vehicle's light butI forgot they work on them at night like that.

I love snow, and I love night stuff... the scene I am most exited about is the only night exterior... I am hoping for DSMC to come with some serious sensitivity to help out so we can get some interesting stuff. The snow will help a lot.

I dream of the day we get to shoot video at 3200ISO :)

The last is stunning! Link to a larger size?

Thanks, much appreciated! I never really realized what a luxury it is to be able to slow down from a busy lifestyle and enjoy a day by looking for interesting things to capture with a camera. I haven't done much photography before, but I think I'm hooked now!

Here is the link to my Flickr photostream where you can view the larger images, thanks again:

These are great. Do you mind talking about some of your processes. Do you use flash in any of the shots that make up your HDR? do you manually point in the HDR or do you use photoshopts merge to HDR. Your colors are extremely saturated whats your technique to bring those out?
