I've been around a lot of animals lately, that's why I have so many. These all were taken using the Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM lens.

The rebel XS impresses me more and more....

ISnt it great to have a camera that doesnt "break" the image.... it jsut responds like you want and it lets you have freedom to make your image......

^ cool motorcycle shot! I haven't got a cool action shot yet. What camera, settings & lens did you use for that one?

Thanks for the kind words about my pictures, really appreciate it.

The main criticism I have for the REBEL is the manual focus, it's pretty much un-usable.

Before I got the XSi, I was shooting w/ the Canon AE-1p (35mm) & there's nothing like the manual focus on that beauty, easy & fast!

I'm looking forward to getting the Canon EOS-1D Mark II, the manual focus is 1 of many features I'm looking forward to using.

The emotion you captured in shot six is wonderful and the pure bliss in shot eight...Wow. Just great shots man...Well done!!

At first I was gonna give you crap for shooting cats and dogs. I usually hate these Digital Photo Experts that talk the talk..... Than show pictures of cats, dogs and flowers.

Your photos are very nice! Keep it up!

Thanks. :) Settings were f8.0 1/320 and I used my kit-lens on the 400D, which is equivalent to Rebel Xti if I´m not mistaken.

^ wow, that's w/ the stock lens?

I was impressed with the lens that came w/ the 450D, even though I haven't used it since I got the Canon 28mm USM. :)

thanks, the poor guy in the 6th picture just got neutered. :(

Yeah, I hear ya', going for the cute cat/dog shot is pretty common, but up here in Northern Thailand you see so many street dogs & cats it's hard for me not to point my camera @ them.

Thanks for going easy on me. :)
