 Yeah well, it was that or my cell phone. Oh wait. My cell phone doesnt take pictures.
I dont really know beans about photography. Obviously. haha! But I will, someday.
Ok, I'll stop. When I get back to the states, I need to take a photography course somewhere so I can figure out what I am doing. And get a real still camera. Ya'll just seemed bored in here for a minute there. There are some amazing photos on this board.
Every day on my way to/from work I pass this field with a couple tractors sitting near the fence and I always think it would make a nice picture. I had a few minutes on my way home today so I grabbed a handful of shots ... here's the first one I've finished working on (the sky is full of smoke from all the fires, that's my only complaint about this one ... wuold love a nice, rich blue sky ... but it's still pretty cool
LarryR ... I really esthetically like the first one including the smokey sky (afterall, I wasn't breathing it ). I like the second one because I dig old tractors/machinery.
What's with the three spots? One on the telephone wire just to the left of the steering wheel, one right above te front of the tractor and one really faint just above that one.
Glad you like them ... I love looking at that tractor every day as I pass by, just couldn't go another day without stopping.
The spots are either on my lens or on my polarizing filter ... not sure. I didn't notice until I got home and downloaded the photos to the computer. But the spots are in all the images. I cleaned the two, but forgot to clean the spots out of the middle one.
Yea, when I first saw it I suspected the sensor, so I put it in sensor cleaning mode to get the mirror to raise up and I visually inspected it, but couldn't see anything. That's when I suspected it was somewhere else, then someone informed me I probably wouldn't be able to see it.
I was at f22 for those tractor shots and it's the first time I've noticed spots like that, so yep, guess it's time for a cleaning ... just gotta find the right way to clean it.
