Canon user thread - post your pictures here

i dont know whats prettier. the pic or the car. man thats sweet.

i plan to take some pics this Saturday. I brought my cam out last Saturday for a wine tour but nothing special captured that day. Hopefully, this Saturday will be different!

Here's a few more pictures that I took - a couple of them aren't great and I don't like them but I'll post them regardless.

Nice car photos, pt.

I haven't added anything in a while... so here's another photo of my favorite subject:

Kegan, I think I said something like that before but... the pics with the girl are cool. I mean not only because the object is a girl but because the pics are good.

#2 has some potential as well.

Thanks, CR_OPSO, I see you continued making good pictures as well.
But what about the expression on her face?

But what about the expression on her face?

I tried posing her, but she just wasn't in the mood to cooperate (typical 4 yr old, I guess). So, I just let her go do whatever she wanted and followed her around. She must of been looking at something in the distance... trying to figure it out. Or maybe she was thinking, "if he doesn't let me change out of this dress soon, I'm going to stomp on his camera". Ya never know. :)

CR_OPSO I really like that picture - I personally think the expression on her face is hilarious. I have 3 nieces (a fourth on the way) and a nephew and they were all so difficult to deal with when they were younger. One of them is three - hm, I really should try a photoshoot using her.

Thanks pt - I was dissapointed in a lot of the flower pics because they came out too soft for my liking and I wasn't able to get the colors to "pop" as I'd like. Those were horrible faces of the girl too haha...she's agreed to become a model for more provocative pictures - we'll see how that ends up going.

I really hope you own these cars or at least get to drive them. That's insane.

Great picture.

Here are a few of my brother-in-law. He is a musician and wanted a few photos for his website. Keep in mind, these are snaps...we didn't set anything up. I was working from home and he was here and asked if I would take a few photos...

PT...dont kill me over the saturated colors shots. ha!

Hey just wanted to drop this image from the nikon side to see what you
think! HDR of a sculpture and another one of a bridge!

Those are pretty cool. I've been interested in HDR - anywhere I should look for an indepth tutorial? I like them.

rlm - especially like the first shot.

Well...I did have a link for a while as soon as I remember it I will get it to you! You definitely need some kind of software to put images together! Photoshop CS2 and 3 has merging in it but doesnt do quite as well as photomatix pro 2.5 does!

Also when you go out and shoot you definitely want to be on a tripod and you want to shoot at least 5 exposures going from underexposed to overexposed! Atleast that is what I do!

Here is one of my first HDR's! I wish I had everything to let you know what exposures I used and such. I am pretty sure I used about 7 exposures for this image. Tell me what you think!
