Hey all.
Please excuse my ignorance on a couple of issues at hand.. I've done some research into this which has in the process raised some further questions.
I am looking at renting a Letus 35 extreme from a local place for my masters film which shoots in may. We are shooting with a Panasonic HVX200.
The guys I am renting from have mounts for Canon EF or Zeiss PL.
Question is I have been offered the use of a friends collection on Canon EF Mount L-Series primes and zoom's, but I seem to remember them not having anactual aperture ring.. exposure is adjusted by a little electronic wheel on the back of the SLR body. Does this mean that L-Series are not compatible as such.. or do most people simply adjust exposure inside the camera attached to the Letus extreme?
Not knowing a huge amount about the Letus adaptor, and my DoP is also used to shooting on film ... how the heck do most people adjust exposure with the extreme?
The university also have a collection of Zeiss PL mount lenses, but they are normally used with Aaton 16mm cameras.. so I'm not sure if these would be compatible?
Any advice appreciated :dankk2:
