Canon or Nikkor for Brevis

I'm going to buy the 35mm Brevis vary soon, but I have a problem.
I own a Canon SLR camera and I have been a canon man but from what I have read the nikkor lenses are better when it come's to adaptors since step down quickly and easily.
How do you step down on canon lenses, do you play with the iris on the camera itself?

Depends on what you are doing... if you shoot movies, then it doesn't matter that it's a little slower when changing aparture.
Nikon is better on the aparture thing, but then again, Canon got the L-serie.
Also, check out the Red One camera, because there's a third company developer that creates the "Birger mount". They seem to have come up with a way to do remote focusing and changing aparture on canon lenses.
But I am not sure this will work on an adapter.

I ordered the Brevis with an EOS mount, mainly because I own a few eos lenses and a Canon DSLR camera. One thing is that I will never sell my L lenses. It doesn't get much better then that. So, If you already have a few canon quality lenses, go with eos. If your shooting documentary or events, canon might not be the best way.

I know that the best thing about my EOS choice is that I can use my adapter and my DSLR, then later when I got the money, I can use them on a Red One.
That way I can order more canon lenses and use them on my DSLR, adapter and Red. It's better to go with something that links what you have then to use nikon on the adapter and canon on your dslr.
