Canon LUT in FCPéX

Hello.

Are the Canon LUT folders I just downloaded the same as the ones built-in in FCPX? Or are they updated? I am using a C200.

As far as I'm aware, FCPX does not allow for custom / downloaded LUTS to be used currently. It comes with the manufacturer's (Canon, Sony, Arri, etc.) standard luts for C-log, etc only.
If you are using a plug-in, like Color Finale, then you will be able to move /use custom luts.

Thanks markfpv. What I meant is: are the LUTs I just downloaded from Canon (I assume they were developed for the C200 in very recent times) the same as the built-in Canon LUTS that have been in FCPX for quite a going time now? I think not.
 
I use MotionVFX MLut with Canon LUTS from the Canon website and they do look different to the FCPX Canon LUTS
 
My experience has been the same as above...I have used specific C-Log and S-Log LUTs and some differed slightly based on which company/package they came from.
