Hi folks,
I never thought I'd ask THIS question. I just happened to be at a friend's birthday party, and took some pictures with my wife's Canon G6 camera. Then I thought - hey, it's got a video setting, why not use that to make some home movies?
Well, the AVI files produced by that fine piece of equipment play fine in Windows Media Player (v. 9), but when I import them into Vegas, only sound gets imported, no picture. I suspect Canon is using a video codec that Vegas doesn't support, but it's been a while since I dabbled in that area, so maybe it's something else.
Anyone has an idea what the problem might be?
Thanks a bunch!
