Canon FD 35-105mm f3.5 with LEX?

Hi

Has anyone tried Canon FD 35-105mm f3.5 with LEX? Is the GG gonna show? I have EX1 with LEX and EX1 kit achromat.

I tried my 35mm f2.8 stopped down to f4 and it looked ok, no GG visible. Can I use that as a comparison to what the zoom would look like at f3.5 at 35mm?

PS. Anyone have an extra Nikon (old version is cool too) or Canon EF mount and want to trade for an old FD mount?

I think I remember a guy on the cinevate forums named ben winter shooting a whole short on the brevis with that lens. It should work, obviously it's gonna be a bit light hungry but should be great outside. I'm looking to pick one up soon myself.

it's a nice lens, but close focus is 1,5 meters and the macro mode is crap. You have to turn the zoom ring beyond 35mm and push a button. So it's not possible to pull focus for example from 0,8m to 3m ...
