Having a Frankencamera to work with is part of it, but it's more than that. It is also the LOOK that contraption is going to provide. Taking a B4 lens that is designed for a 3-chip 2/3" camera and then mounting it on an adapter and then mounting that on a single big-sensor camera never provides a great image. It might be acceptable to some people, but I think it always looks like ****. Use the right tool for the job.
