- Every Feature the C400 has
- Dual CFast Express with an SD card that can record proxies and/or primary
- 4:3 sensor for full frame open gate anamorphic
- Secondary power/video feed port for viewfinder in addition to monitor port
- Viewfinder
- 4" LCD screen (the C400 screen is crap in terms of size), 5" LCD screen, 7" LCD screen
- 8K large format, 6K full frame, 4K Super35
- If large format increases power draw, release a C500 Mark III full frame with lower power draw and a medium format version with higher power draw (like the C700 had an S35 and FF version)
- XF-AVC in 6K and 8K
- Full size timecode BNC (maybe full size XLR though I'm a bit on the fence about that)
- Dual Gain Sensor (I'm on the fence about this if it doubles the power draw)
- Ability to change sensor modes while recording
- Extension unit that has two additional XLR AND two additional SDI outputs
- The joystick on the camera when pressed in will select like the function key does to select ISO, shutter, etc. The original Canon C100s did this but for some dumb reason the C300s have not been able to.
- Canon should buy Arri and put Arri sensors in smaller Canon camera bodies (if Nikon can buy Red what is holding Canon back?)
