Canon C200 Priced between $6k and $7.5k

But the C200B is a non starter for normal shooting, it's really only for gimbals and remote mounting.

correct, but at $7.5k with dual pixel AF touchscreen, 60p 4k up to 12bit, it's competitive. If Panasonic can give us a s35mm with EF and higher dynamic range than the C200's 13 stop with 10bit it will win over many new people.

Things are heating up, sony launches $1000 mail in rebate on the FS5 good till end of July in addition to the free Metabone adaptor and 24 months 0% interest.

Do you not own an EVF or an external display? What if you think, "I'm not really gonna use the built in EVF because I have my own and I don't really need the LCD because I'm gonna use my Shogun. That I already own". Come on now.....

With the touchscreen it's a $6700 package, and if you have your own top handle/don't want the rear EVF, then it's a good deal.

Does the EOS C200B come with a Smart Grip?

No, no grip.

To me, it makes more sense for most to buy the C200 and just remove what you don't need but then Canon went and did a dumb thing with the non-removable/mountable EVF. I have an EVF Pro, Ninja Blade, Small HD DP6, etc. but I would not get the handy touchscreen DPAF with any of those. Even though I have the EVF Pro, I would still rather have a body with the EVF on it, it looks to be nicely spec'd with HDR and stuff like that.
