canon 85mm f1.2

The older one is more "rare" if I´m not mistaken it was the first lens where aspherical element was ever used.
The new FD 85mm 1.2 L in the other hand is optically the same as its EF counterpart MK1 that takes wonderful pictures even wide open (lens hood / matte box is highly recommended). By the way somehow the FD version vignettes less than the EF version.

What makes those 85mm f1.2 lens so special is that you can take full body portraits in 16:9 landscape aspect on still have DOF that blurs the background.
See some of my shots here - you`ll know which were shot with that 85mm 1.2.

Cheers,
T

Toenis, your photos rock hard, my friend! You have some really beautiful stuff in there. Is that classic or digital?

very very nice shots. I love the Bokeh as you say even in the wider shots. If i shot with Canon i would buy this lens.

Both, classic and digital - classic film was even easier to master than digital before I got my first full frame dSLR that is. Still have my full set of FD equipment that I use for backup shots etc.
I still can`t stand when I can`t get a moving composition as perfect as I would with static images.
