Canon 35mm video camera!!!

The pic is probably bs, but this camera has been long rumoured and I bet it will come out sooner rather than later. Does that mean, NAB? IHNI.

I hope they at least announce one by the end of this year. Either that, or hopefully they take the next batch of DSLR releases to the next level in terms of video, so that they can compete with Sony and Panasonic on the affordable 35mm sensor video camera front.

If you think of it though, announcing on April Fool's Day might actually be a brilliant marketing maneuver. If planned out enough, they could really take advantage of people wondering if it is true or not, and do something different to generate buzz for the new camera. It would be funny because it would play to the fact that a new camera is always rumored on or around April Fool's Day, and the extra attention that got might get people talking a bit more. It would be unexpected, would steal Sony's thunder, and would put a dent in Panasonic's AF100 momentum.
