Canon 35mm adapter?

Hey everyone, just a quick question here. I was on a shoot today where a videographer that shoots with the same camera as I (Canon XH-A1), said he was at Vistek and he saw a demo of "Canon's" 35mm adapter. I asked if he meant a Letus, SGPro, Redrock M2 or something like that.

He said no and that the people at Vistek showed him a "demo" of this footage and it was VERY filmlike. He also said that it was made SPECIFICALLY for the A1. Now, I find this all very hard to believe and even did a google search to no avail.

Anybody heard of anything like this before or is the guy I was on a shoot with today, totally losing it?!

Perhaps he was referring to the $15K+ one. If it looked filmlike, it couldn't have been the EOS adapter they promoted with the XL, as the censor still 'squishes' the depth of field, keeping it deep - so people have said (haven't used it personally).

No, he didn't. I'm actually curious to find out this answer so I'll email him today, ask and post back with his response.
