hello, i want to buy some lenses with EF mount canon 16-35, canon 70-200, zeiss 50 and zeiss 85, also i want to buy Letus elite for my xdcam ex1 but i have a question. all these lenses have iris ring inside the lens (nikon lenses have outside), how can i control the iris with letus elite, thank you.

i want canon lenses because i want to buy canon 5D mark II too and have not enough money to buy for both.

You need an EF DSLR body to change the aperture. Put the lens on the DLSR, change the aperture there, press DOF preview and take the lens off and put it back on the Letus.

Also, may I suggest taking a look at the M2encore from Redrock(http://store.redrockmicro.com/Catalog/M2EncoreBundles/M2EncoreIndieBundleMicroX). With it's new achromat it's really optimized for the EX line. The only reason I mention that is because they have a mount that allows you to control the aperture of your EF lenses without having to do the still camera trick(http://store.redrockmicro.com/Catal...iveLens-active-lens-mount-for-Canon-EF-lenses).

Philip Bloom actually did a review with an Encore and his Ex1, its a good read: http://philipbloom.net/2009/08/09/redrock-encore-ex1-review/

Also, their M3 unit is coming out shortly(http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=207600).
