Cannot capture in Premiere

For some reason now I cannot capture using Premiere. I am using a DVX100a
..

I used to be able to.. but it says to restart the camera ..
I did re install to see if that would remedy the problem with no luck. Has anyone else run into this problem. I am using Premiere CS3

Have you tried setting the Device control? Open the capture window and click the settings tab and choose DV/HDV Device Control.

I jsut went in an double checked. I set the DV/HDV Device control. The camera close to mine was the Panasonic AG-DVX100P.. mine is an A.

This did work for a while. But now all of the sudden it wont. I can capture in Vegas and other prgrams but in Premiere just stopped working

Still says
Can't Activate Recorder - Try Resetting Camera..

And I re-installed Premiere thinking this would fix it but still same problem.
is there something else I could try?
