Canada?  Edmonton? or Alberta?

I have noticed that there are quite a few Canadians on this board and was wondering if anyone is from Alberta or from Edmonton specifically.

I am very interested in getting a one-on-one training session with the DVX100. Also, I am very new to shooting so all the help would be appreciated.

I am willing to pay for your time so please post your contact info and price or just PM me.

Born and Raised in Sherwood Park... lived in the Southside UofA in Edmonton through Highschool.. then went to Jasper then Vancouver :)

Let me know if you ever get out to Van.. in the meantime you might wanna check out Barry's book, its gonna be as good as a lesson as you can get.

Funny...could have gone to school with you but you left the park.  I went to Sal in Sherwood Park and I am in Vancouver a lot on business.  I am also in the web business (run a large portal) and would love to chat with you some time. I will for sure be getting Barry's DVD and book.

If you don't have a DVX, I would suggest you rent one for a weekend from Precision Sound or Cine Audio/Visual after you pick up Barry's book.

I went to FR Haythorne (**** school) then onto Strathcona High in Edmonton... did Nait for a couple years as well.. My older siblings went to Sal Comp but jesus that was a good 15 years ago I think :)

I might go up to Edmonton christmas time to visit the family so maybe we could hook up and go cause a ruckus.. although I have learned not to video tape yourself getting into trouble in edmonton... they have a pretty good swat team and they dont give back your camera.
