can you tell 24p?

i got a bunch of tapes for a new project.
its DV anamorphic, and by the looks of it im assuming its 24

is there a technical way to verify it was shot 24?

Sure go frame by frame on a monitor. If you see all interlaced frames it's 60i. If you see one interlaced frame every fourth frame it's 24pA otherwise 24p.
