Can you rotate a shot 90 degrees?

I needed to get a close up shot but have the entire person in it so I held the camera sideways. Is Vegas capable of rotating the shot?

Probably better to do it in pan/crop if it's the only clip you want to rotate, especially as you'll probably resize it.

Track motion is here:

And Pan/Crop can be found by right-clicking your clip in the timeline.

thanks guys. track motion rotated all of the clips but there's only one i need to rotate. i did the pan/crop and got only that clip so it was good but the obviously now the clip looks weird with bars on the left and right.

i'm messing with the position numbers, is there a certain set of #s that will yield the best results or is particular to each video based on the settings? i can't seem to find the right numbers to get rid of the bars on the sides and top/bottom without it being really zoomed in

Physically impossible to do. You are trying to fit a video that is now 1080 wide into a space that is 1920 wide. You HAVE to zoom in if you want it to fit.

another way to fill the frame without having the black bars would be to enable/disable 'Source' settings such as stretch to fill frame, and Maintain Aspect Ratio. These will cause your clip to deform or look stretched where a thin man looks fat kinda thing. But its the only illegal/ugly way to get to fill the frame without the black bars and yet not zoom in. Sometimes depending on the nature of the clip and what your trying to do this might be ok. But not for a protrait shot of a person obviously. Unless they are very thin and wouldnt mind looking fat on the video for kicks.
