Can you put polarizer and UV filter at the same time?

I don't see why not.

As far as getting expensive filters? That depends on what you plan on doing with them. If you want something to use all the time then by all means get the best. For some things you may want some cheap lens protection. I did some car mounted stuff and used a cheaper UV filter cause I knew it was gonna get trashed. At the end of the day it was scratched to hell and I tossed it. You don't wanna do that to an expensive filter.

Just make sure you don't get "slim" style filters, they don't have front threads and therefore will not allow stacking.

I've always heard that you want the pola as the first filter when using multiple filters, but I have never seen a problem stacking a uv in front of a pola.

Make alot of sense and a great advice, thx man I never thought of that. I might buy an expensive polarizer along with cheap UV.
