Can you do this ?

I want to simiply replace a video clip in the VV 6.0 timeline with another one of equal length, is there is a simple 'replace as' feature? I dont want to mess witht the current timing of the timeline. I want to do this a number of times, Im looking for a shortcut. . .

You can . . .

1) Use the trimmer to get the length exactly as you need it, delete the clip you don't want, put the cursor at the former beginning the old clip, then use "A" in the trimmer to put the new clip exactly where it was. (Make sure ripple edits are disabled.)

2) Right-click and drag the new clip into the old clip and select "add as takes."

Those are two off the top of my head.
