Can you delete split edits?

I've made splits in a bunch of video clips, trying to correct video differences. Now, I'd like to try an FX on the whole clip. It's too late to go back using CtrlZ...

Is it possible to delete splits? Is there a better way to do this?

If 1) you want the whole clip to have the same effect, uniformly, and 2) you didn't delete any of the smaller clips you made by splitting, then just delete all but the one furthest to the left and then drag that remaining clip out to fill the gap.

Or copy the event attributes of the changed clip, use the selection tool to highlight the remaning clips and paste. Viola.

thank you both. I used the delete and drag method and it worked great, but it sounds like the other method may come in handy at other times.
