Can the new FCP handle this.....?

MXF files from a Sony XDCam? I'm going to use some shots from a news package that I did on Avid Newscutter as a training exercise for a TV production class that I'm teaching only thing is that we use the latest version of FCP at the university. will it support the files?

Sony has a transfer program for FCP not sure if it actually requires the original camera formatted files though:
