Can someone make me a 35mm adapter

I'm saying it solely depends on what you're using the adapter for. If you're some run and gun guy, rails are going to get in the way too much. If you're shots aren't as dynamic then, sure get some rails, keep your camera safe. the redrock, sgpro and such are best for rails. The g35, gopro, aren't as heavy..only assuming here, they aren't going to break your threads the second you screw them on. Here's a pic of my adapter it shows you how long it is...I'll weight it up also. It has a nikon 28mm lens on the end.

I'll use rails eventually becaue I'll most likely get a follow focus. I'm probably wrong and will have to suffer, but I think it won't break the threads anytime soon, or else, a dozen other people on the boards would have already mentioned an adapter snapping it off, and mine would have already broke as well.

Not the second, but after using a Letus 35 for a couple weeks back in MAy, my DVX now grinds as you turn the focus ring because it got torqued over time. ITs a gradual thing.

CAreful man. but i agreee that for short bursts, and careful handling, cradling the weight off the threads, you can do fine by hand.

Nice setup, but use rail. Mini35 by P+S all use rail system to support their adaptor even when run and gun. Especially when you are on the move as the running around create alot of stress on the connection bewteen the adaptor and thread of the camcorder. You wouldn't want to accidently wack the adaptor when running and the threading get screwed. The adaptor can easily come off even at the slightest thumping. BTW, attached a zoom lens, and you got yourself a really long piece and that wouldn't be healthy for the camcorder thread.

ahh, the letus forgot about that. Yes, I will use rails. I encourage it, just not on my have to do things first off the bat. I'll probably get a good mic first.
