I can't imagine what is in the "upgrade"

Looks like one is just an upgrade (only 13 keys), whereas the other is the full set.

I can't say for sure. The 13 keys in the upgrade basically turn the regular key set into the extended key set. I don't know what those 13 keys are, but they're basically an add on.

If you currently have a keyboard with no "shortcut keys" on it, then look into the full set you posted. The 13 key set won't help you.

I prefer the actual keys instead as it keeps the keyboard feel.
