Can somebody name this movie?

There was a movie with (I think) Jon Cryer from his earlier acting days. He met this girl and continued to lie to her and never gave her his real name. In the end, he went up to her and he's like, "Okay, lets start over... I'm (name)" and he put his hand out and stuff...

I don't remember anything other than the fact that I liked it... For some reason I really wanna see it...

If anybody might know the name, please give it to me... I dont think its Pretty in Pink...

Might have been "The Pickup Artist" - but it had Robert Downey Jr. in it.

I believe the movie is "Hiding Out". I remember watching that movie back in the 80's. Makes me want to rent it now. ha,ha.
