Can see the capture preview

This morning, when I tried to capture a tape with my DSR-11 deck, I clicked on File - Log And Capture and then I pressed on play. I can control the deck from my mac so the firewire is well plugged but I can't see the preview. I can see the color bars and it's written Previer Disabled in the center. I tried few tapes and it's stil do the same.
Any idea why?
 
Check the device control preset in the audio/video settings.

If you are going to be capturing recorded footage you need it set at Firewire NTSC.
 
Are you getting any audio when it plays. does the log & capture window say VTR ok?
did you try a reboot? Be sure you do not have external video viewing using firewire anabled.
 
It is set to Firewire NTSC and I also tried NTSC NDF just to be sure. I rebooted and yes it say VTR OK just under the color bar were it is written preview disabled.
