'Can Premiere CS3 handle the P2 cards?

Hey!

Are the P2 Card from the HVX200 compatible with Premiere CS3 because a friend told me that I need to buy some extra Upgrades?

Thats true?

As long as you have the 3.1 update for PPro CS3, you'll be able to natively handle the MXF data from P2 cards. If your editing computer is online, just go to Help > Updates, and any pertinent updates will be downloaded and installed. The update is free.

There's also a free download to upgrade After Effects to support P2 as well.
