Can Premier Pro 2 edit JVC 100?

Naitively, I mean.

What sort of card would you use. Giving serious thought to buying the Adobe production pack if it can handle the mt2's that the JVC puts out...

But I've never even used Premier, so I just don't know...

Anyone know?

Sorry man no idea, but you would think Adobe would have some info on their website?

Even if they did, not sure I would hold them to it!

"real world' reviews are usually less biased (naturally).

Why do you want to edit HDV natively? I have edited footage from the JVC HD100 using AspectHD and it worked great. Captured with no problems and edited with three realtime streams with color correction and 3D transitions, no problems.

I thought that to get the best overall quality (say, if you wanted to do a filmout), it was best to edit naitively - any other method would mean at least some loss in quality.

PS - excuse my ignorance, but could you tell me if aspect HD is part of/plug-in for Premire, or if it's some other program?

Well,
based on trying PPRO2 with my HD100 (bought 2 weeks ago, new stock), it does not work.

It also will not work with Cineform progams.

I've heard there is a new firware update to fix this issue.

Any more news on this?

I've left a messages with my local rep regarding the upgrade.
