Yesterday I noticed that a local school was clearing out a lot of stuff.
Some of the things in the garbage heap was 10-15 ceiling lights that is shaped like small low profiled space lights (only 30-40 cm across though...).
The lamp socket is rated to 200w and was carrying CFL lights (which I discarded at the spot since some of them were broken and they are extremely toxic when broken), the wiring was also still present.
I picked up three of them and 6 of the "egg crate" plastic thingys that always come with ceiling lights like these and the interior is reflective white.
My plan is to skirt them with blackwrap so they don't spill so much and then rig them up.
Do you think it would be possible to power these with CFL tubes in side with NP-F mounted batteries, making them really portable?
