can Manfrotto 504 fluid head fit onto Miller solo DV sticks???

I have a Manfrotto 501 fluid head and would very much like to know if this head can fit onto the Miller Solo DV sticks???

I'm planning to get the Miller DV solo sticks because of their ability to go very low down to the ground.

as far as I remember (worked at B&H for awhile in pro video) the Miller tripods (non ball mount) accept the same size screw thread as the 501 video head, so I would imagine your good to go combining the two.

I've had my 501 on bogen legs, Giottos legs, and Miller legs
