Hey,
I've been a longtime Final Cut Studio user who is looking to be a bit more modern and will either start using FC X or Premiere.
I do a lot of stills+motion these days. With stills I know 100% how I want the files to look. I often use a combo of Lightroom then Photoshop to get them how I want.
In fact, often now the lighting is the same as it's continuous for both so the stills+vid should be pretty similar in their starting point.
In LR it's generally some basically contrast, whites/blacks etc and in Photoshop I use mainly Channel Mixer, Colour Balance, Vibrance/Saturation and Curves to get the look I want.
I'm curious - can I use Premiere in a similar way to colour correct my video?
As in, I'll have an image in Photoshop that's done, so then I need to give the video the same look and I'm wondering if that's, because they're the same family, really easy in Premiere?
Thanks for the advice!
