Can i use compresssor to convert ntsc dvd to pal dvd

I was wondering if and how I would use compressor to convert an ntsc dvd to pal dvd for viewing in South Africa.

I have the exact same question. Please someone who's done this answer this question.

I have a 97 minute movie in .mov file format. I want to make a PAL DVD for viewing on old machines or whatever. I know most machines play NTSC now, but I'm required to deliver a PAL DVD nevertheless.

I'm using G5 dual processor 2.7 gHz FCP 5.04 4MB of RAM
 
Compressor can convert video files between NTSC and PAL. So, to the OP, if it is the source file and not a DVD image, you are in luck.

I've done NTSC>PAL conversions before, they take a while, but the results are too bad.
