Can I import a jpeg into Vegas 8?

1st, I'm relatively new to working with video. Been doing audio for years though.

I'm finishing a video that I've been putting together for a band. I'd like to put the bands logo at the beginning of the video. I have the logo but it's in jpeg format and I can't find anything in the "manual" or help section regarding importing jpegs. Can it be done?

Yup, Vegas will handle just about any picture file format, I've been very impressed at its import ability. (Ditto for importing sound and video formats.)
