I'm using the merlin with the HPX170 (have not mastered yet, GULP) and want to know what my power options are. I use the Anton Bauer ElipZ with it usually, but can't with the Merlin. They sell an extension cord for the Elipz and was wondering, can I somehow carry the battery on my person (e.g., on a vest), and have the cord go on the the steadicam, or will that mess up the whole weight situation? Are there other options that'll allow me to switch quickly? Thanks.
