Can I delete single frames?

I'm using Vegas Movie Studio 9b (not Pro) to edit videos I took of the night time Disneyland parade. The source files are AVCHD from my Panasonic GH1.

Many people were using flash cameras and the ones around me resulted in a number of single frames that are way over-exposed compared to the rest of the frames. I'd like to remove these frames but can't seem to find a nice way to do this.

I know about the Split command but was hoping there was a simpler way. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Another way that i usually do it. Expand your track as far as possible (sideways) and then use ALT + Right / Left to move your play cursor one frame at a time.

Now it becomes easy. Just hit S to split. USe above key combo to move forward (or backward) 1 frame and hit S again to split.
