Can I create this effect in Vegas?

Its possible to create this blurry/shaky animated text transition in Vegas?
See this example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvntlgePF6s (I'm talking about "Alexinho" text at 0:25 and end credits at 0:47 - something like that).

I know I can create shake manually with pan and crop and keyframes, but maybe there is a more precise way. I also kno I can create blur by gaussian blur, but what about some kind of motion blur during the shaky text transition?

I believe most of that stuff is from Andrew Kramer over at Video Copilot.

Most of his work is used in AE but i have used some stuff in Vegas before. I don't know if all if that can be created in Vegas but I think its worth a try
