Can I Convert Hd To Dv Inside Vegas

Can I Convert Uploaded Hd Footage To Dv In Vegas With Loss Of Quality (apart From The Obvious Of Hd To Dv) As When I Have Tried Rendering The Hd Footage To Dv Pal The Quality Is Worse Than If I Shot It In Dv.

Is your project file DV?

[J5 squared]

dv? do you mean sd? or are you just trying to figure out a way to burn hd back to tape?

[Drew Ott]

Yes, I meant SD.

If your project file is HD and you render out as SD you might mess something up, I don't know.

Make sure you set your project settings correctly, and when you render have "default project settings" selected.

After that you can go in and change some custom things like render quality, bitrate, etc.
