can I convert 24p to 24pADV ?

i screwed up. got short film shot on two days, week apart. shot half of footage in 24pa (what i wanted) and half in 24p.

a friend of mine was messing with scene file wheel and i didn't check before shooting.

so now i have half captured with advanced pulldown 23.9 and the other half with ntsc 48 khz at 29.9 fps (it still captured at 29.9 when i tried the advanced pulldown setting for capture)

how can i turn the 30p footage into 24p?

it doesn't look right, especially compared to the 24p....it has a strange blurring pattern, like aliasing, but only horizontal lines....

thank you, i did! selected the clip, clicked 'remove advanced pulldown' under tools and voila, it's 24p.

but now the video lags behind audio and is aliased.


what have i done?
