Can Final Cut Pro 5.1 work with 5.0.4 files

Hey guys

My office is currently set up with 3 final cut pro 5.0.4 workstations with e the production suite. Now the problem is, i can't run all three at the same time due to apple's protection. Two of them are on different serial numbers but one has the same as another. We only own two full compies. Anyways, if i upgrade final cut pro on 1 machine to 5.1, will i see problesm working with 5.0.4 on the same project. I bet no one has run into this yet.
 
Hmmm, that's something for me to think about. I have 2 machines. A MacMini and a Desktop and I've installed FCP 5.1 on the MacMini due to not wanting to mess with my flow on my main machine 'yet'. So soon I will be installing FCP 5.1 onto the main machine, I am wondering now if I'll have problems doing this. I don't see why I would. I hope I don't.
 
Keep in mind that FCP5.1 projects are not backwards-compatible with 5.0.4. In other words, you can open 5.0.4 projects in 5.1, but you can't open 5.1 projects in 5.0.4.
