Can Centruy lenses for XL1 fit DVX?

Some rental houses carry lenses but don't list that it will work with DVX. They mainly say Wide-Angle Lens for GL1 or XL1. Will the Century Optics XL1 lenses screw onto to a DVX? I don't know the thread size for the XL1. I know the XL1 has different lens mounting from the DVX but I know that the XL1 lens has threading on the front so you can put a Century lens on there too. Will it work with the DVX? If not can I simply get a step-up/down ring to make it fit with minimal vignetting?

Hey Ian, you can Gaff tape the century optics on to the front of your DVX.
But it will not fit on the threads, even with a step-up.
I know because I have the Adapter from my XL1
and I use it occasionally
