I am currently trying to gather up the parts for my upcoming 35mm adapter based off of Edweirdo's fine design.

For those of you who don't know... I am stuck in the this backwater hole of Kosovo where indoor plumbing is a new "up and coming thing." (I'm serious, I got footage of where people have to go in a shed and piss and crap in the ground)

We have contractors here on post that do have PVC, but they can't find it in their hearts to spare a 2" Cap and and 2" MTF adapter for a troop "keeping the peace" in their "country"

I can get EVERYTHING online: the mount, the uv filters, GG, etc...and have it mailed here.

But I havent really found a place that would sell just a 2" Cap and a 2" MTF adapter.

Suggestions?
 
well, I guess ya just cant resist a man in uniform :)

JK- since you are a little farther away from home depot than I am- I will send you the PVC you need no charge. PM me the PVC you need.

Edweirdo I salute you. I was thinking the same thing but you beat me to it. These guys don't get paid enough for the job they do keeping our country safe.

Well...I haven't check to see if Ackbar has a "secret smuggled supply" of PVC pipe in town...

Thanks....all part of a days work. But I don't have it NEARLY as bad as my bro's and sis's in Iraq or Afghanistan.
 
Damn, if your keeping the country safe by having time to build a 35mm adapter, then i must have saved the world 10 times by now.
 
I was in the Army for 3 years as an artilleryman. Yes making a 35mm adapter can be rough, but not that rough :)

I feel your pain x-angel. In my case, I was stuck on a ship at sea. Mail was like gold. Getting PVC to finish an adapter would be like a pot of gold!

X-angel... Im still active duty also, understand your plight. Ed is taking care of you, sounds like, but if there is anything else you need, just shout.
